Arlberg Sports: Renting Bikes

Arlberg Sports: Renting Bikes

A couple weekends ago I got to cross “rent bikes” of my local to-do list. I used to ride bikes all the time when I was a little girl, but I haven’t been back on one for years and years. M and I have a friend who is an avid cyclist who wanted us to go bike-riding with him, so we rented bikes from Arlberg Sports inside Pybus Market. Thankfully we say “it’s like riding a bike” for a reason, and I haven’t forgotten how to stay upright on two wheels :)

We got to Pybus at around ten or so on Saturday morning, and headed straight to Cafe Columbia to share a bite for breakfast. (Love that place – I’ll have to do a post sometime.) When you see a Washington shaped cookie, you buy it. Even if it’s breakfast time.

We were a little worried about the weather because rain was in the forecast, but we went ahead and rented bikes anyway. The renting process was super easy. We just filled out a piece of paper, went outside to pick our bikes, and we were on our way. The rental price we paid was $15 per bike for two hours, which I thought was a pretty good price. (It does include a helmet.) My favorite part about renting these bikes was the location. You are basically right on the Apple Capital loop trail already, which is such a beautiful trail to bike. My second favorite part was the fact that my bike was really cute and retro-looking. :)
