A Night at Posthotel Leavenworth

If you’ve ever seen pictures of Posthotel in Leavenworth, you were probably blown away by how beautiful it is. I know I was, and I immediately added it to my list of places to go. In June last year we booked a one night stay for our anniversary which was on a Sunday. We live a little less than an hour away from Leavenworth, so we were easily able to go for just a night. The experience was amazing, and we of course would’ve loved to have more time there.
The room
We checked in just before 3pm after grabbing lunch in Leavenworth. We were greeted with a refreshing juice which we took with us to park our car and find our room. Posthotel is right downtown Leavenworth, and they have a parking garage so you’re able to park your car and walk anywhere downtown from the hotel.
When we checked into our room I was in love with the style and decor. I felt like I had left Washington and stepped right into Europe. We got into our swimsuits and headed down to the pool.

Pool & Wellness
I knew that Posthotel was beautiful and had a heated pool with amazing views before booking. That alone was enough to draw me in. My husband and I didn’t realize all of the saunas and steam rooms included with the stay. It is a full-on wellness retreat. When we got down to the pool, we were immediately shown around to all of the different steam rooms, stone stepping pools, cold plunge, nap room, etc. The options felt endless. Each steam room had a different layout and theme. There was a mint room that was cold instead of hot, there was a lavender room, there was a grotto cave room and more. It was amazing to experience them all.
There is a good amount of daybeds and lounges, all very comfortable. If you sleep in, you will risk not getting your pick of lounges, but I am an early riser so we had no issues being right where we wanted.
The room includes a pool bag with water bottles, robes, etc. to use during your stay. The pool area has a drink station with coffee, tea, and water. The daybeds also have drink menus – all items with health in mind such as green juices and wellness shots. We ordered a few different things from this menu and loved them all.

Dining
For each night you stay, breakfast and lunch is included on site. We really enjoyed both meals, and many were dining in their spa robes. You can venture into Leavenworth for dinner, where there are many options. We went to Larch and highly recommend it. Their specialty is handcrafted pastas which are delicious.
Other than dinner, we did not leave the hotel until our stay was over. We really enjoyed our visit, and I can see why it is always booked when I check back for a weekend here and there. It is expensive, but you quickly see why when you are there.

I’m a broken record when I say this, but we will be back.
