Brunch at Riverwalk Cafe

Brunch at Riverwalk Cafe

This weekend my husband and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary! We kept it simple and went to Chelan for brunch at Riverwalk Cafe. I’d never been and it did not disappoint. I loved the “order at the window and then go find your seat” concept, and while the place was almost full, the sweet hostess helped us find a spot right outside on the patio. We ordered two mimosas – sparkling grapefruit for me and blood orange for the husband. They were SO good and SO huge! Seriously, the best mimosas we’ve had in a long time. I will definitely be back just to have another sparkling grapefruit!

For breakfast, I got the waffles which came with homemade whipped cream and two slices of thick cut applewood smoked bacon. The husband got the NOLA omelette, which came with some delicious locally made toast. Everything was great. We were very happy with our breakfast spot choice – highly recommend! (Those mimosas you guys, I’m not joking!) We also enjoyed the really old trivial pursuit cards they had outside – totally kept us entertained while we waited for food!

After, we walked through an art festival that was going on in the park next door. The weather was amazing, and the water looked so inviting. We wanted to jump in! (We didn’t.) Just another reminder that we need to have a lake day in Chelan, ASAP!
